A rose cake for Rosie

She doesn't know about it yet though, it's only her birthday tomorrow. Rosie is one of my TAs at school, she likes pink and is young and pretty so this cake seems perfect. It was really quick to decorate comparitively speaking, largely because I cheated and bought that Betty Crocker ready made buttercream icing. Tsk tsk. I also couldn't actually bake the cake myself because my oven is broken, so there has been a little sneaky behind the scenes scheming going on, which is all a bit tricky when we just about live in each others' back pockets all week at work.
