An unlikely friendship

It's not unheard of, I know, but I'm still surprised and very pleased that Sylvester and Katy seem to be on the road to becoming very good friends. Initially he was completely disinterested in her and she was a little nervous of him, but the more she hops around the house, the more he's tolerating her. If anything, she's overconfident now and he's more than a little nervous of her! Possibly because he's seen the future and the future is at least the same size as Sylvester!

We did have a bit of an incident last night when she hopped up to him and caught him by surprise. It happened again after they did their little sniffing, kissing thing earlier. He lashes out, but without claws out, so I think it's more that she's a little too bouncy and unexpected for him! This evening he was quite happy to have her around until he started walking away and she went bouncing after him and jumped at his tail! It's funny though.

On a worrying note, Nikita definitely views Katy as a take away meal. We can't have her out of her hutch at all if Nikita is around. I keep hoping it'll get better, but actually, it's getting worse.
